The competition, organised by The Event Services Association (TESA) and supported by Plymouth City Council, is now in its 12th year and has become a fixture on the Plymouth calendar and major tourist attraction attended by thousands each summer.

Over the course of the two nights, the Champions of North, Central and Southern England along with the Welsh and Scottish National Champions and the overall runner up from the five regional heats will do battle for the title of British Firework Champions 2008.
