Once again the Plymouth Summer Festival brings together a unique collection of concerts at established and unusual venues that cut across all musical tastes and genres.
The highlights of the programme are world class artists Westlife and Meat Loaf Live and Kicking at the Plymouth Argyle Stadium, Home Park in Central Park.
This year's programme also includes the remarkable Music of the Night in the open air of the Royal Citadel as well as headliners the Kooks, Avril Lavigne, Russell Watson and Yazoo.
Local venues and musicians feature at the forefront of the Festival including the Barbican Jazz & Blues Festival and classical music programmes presented by the Ten Tors Orchestra, Plymouth Symphony Orchestra and Plymouth Choral Society.
Add to that top drawer brass band Grimethorpe Colliery Band, the inimitable Chas'n'Dave, the Pigeon Detectives, the Show of Hands and a little Gilbert and Sullivan and you have the makings of a really great summer of music with something for everyone. New events are confirming all of the time, so keep checking this site for more details and ways to book your tickets.
