Plymouth is awash with quality music and entertainment in concert venues, pubs, clubs, theatres and even football grounds.  For this segment of the Plymouth Summer Festival size really doesn't matter as there are events with capacities of less than 50 right up to 20,000!  If you've been waiting for a cracking performance at Home Park this year then we might just have it - bringing a back catalogue spanning some 40 years and coming to Plymouth for the first time, Plymouth Argyle welcome rock legend Rod Stewart to the city for what is sure to be a huge occasion.

At the other end of the events' spectrum Plymouth Summer Festival is delighted to once again support the Barbican International Jazz and Blues Festival - now in its second year and with an even more eclectic mix of local and international live jazz and blues across a range of venues in Plymouth's historic Barbican; headliners include the soulful sounds of New Orleans' born Abram Wilson, Portico Quartet and Preston Reed making a hugely popular and welcome return to the festival.

Other hot tickets include Derren Brown, comedians Jimmy Carr, Russell Howard and Kevin 'Bloody' Wilson as well as the hugely popular musicals' star John Barrowman - and many, many, more!
