Plymouth's spectacular location between the sea and Devon's rolling moors and farmland provides our city and its award-winning restaurants with a wonderful natural larder of fine fresh food right on our doorstep.

Visitors are spoiled for choice with pubs, restaurants, bistros and al fresco dining in the City Centre, theatre-land, Sutton Harbour, and the historic Barbican, which is also home to the famous Plymouth Gin Distillery.

Later on Plymouth's vibrant and varied nightlife comes into its own, offering everything from waterside drinks in the historic Barbican to a selection of nightclubs, cabaret and casinos.
