There is a broad and diverse offer from Plymouth's theatres this summer including everything from the traditional theatre canon through to highly challenging, innovative and contemporary work with some cracking popular musicals in between.

Breakin' Convention is a unique festival of Hip Hop Dance Theatre with local acts, DJs and freestyle sessions that is sure to rattle the foyer glass at the Theatre Royal.  Plymouth enjoys yet another 'world premiere' in Quadrophenia, the exhilarating roller coaster of a production that should appeal to rebels and adolescents of all ages.

The season also features an array of musical highlights including Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd-Webber's masterpiece Evita, the most fantasmagorical stage musical in the history of everything - Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and High School Musical 2 Live on Stage, featuring all the much-loved characters and hig songs from the smash-hit movie.
